‘The Light is On For You’ is an initiative of the Archdiocese of Washington and the Diocese of Arlington where Catholic churches across the D.C. metro area are open for quiet prayer and Confession throughout Lent. “The Church must be a place of mercy freely given, where everyone can feel welcomed, loved, forgiven and encouraged to live the good life of the Gospel.” –Pope Francis, Click on the icon to the left to go to the site.
Friday, March 6th, from 5:15 to 6:45, the JFK Council of the Knights of Columbus is sponsoring a fish fry in the Parish Hall. The Lenten Meal will begin after the First Friday Benediction, which starts at 5 and will end before the Stations of the Cross, which starts at 7 pm. The menu is one Lenten portion of fried fish, potatoes salad and a beverage, in the spirit of fasting. Donations to the Parish will be accepted.
