Each day, a different intention is accompanied by a short reflection, suggested actions, and related information. September 4th will be First Friday of the Month and we will have a 7:30 am Mass with the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament after Mass until 5:00 pm. Please sign up to spend time with the Lord.
Next week we begin the 3-Day novena and Mass to the Virgin Mary in preparation for our 111th Annual Feast Day. On Thursday Sept 3rd there will be no 7:30 am Mass. Instead Mass will be at 7:00 pm as we begin the Novena and Mass to Virgin Mary.

As we move indoors to worship we will continue to follow the Archdiocese of Washington, and Charles County guidelines. Thank you all for your support, continued patience, and understanding in helping maintain the safety and wellbeing of all as the restrictions are lifted The list below briefly addresses things we all need to keep in mind while attending Mass. Social distancing and use of mouth covering will remain in place. Families will be allow to sit close together. Attendance at Mass and Church seating will be limited. The dispensation issued by Archbishop Gregory from the obligation to attend Mass during this time remains in effect. The Liturgical changes made in March will remain in effect, e.g., distribution of Holy Communion under one species, no exchanging of the sign of peace, no holy water fonts, etc....

Friday, March 6th, from 5:15 to 6:45, the JFK Council of the Knights of Columbus is sponsoring a fish fry in the Parish Hall. The Lenten Meal will begin after the First Friday Benediction, which starts at 5 and will end before the Stations of the Cross, which starts at 7 pm. The menu is one Lenten portion of fried fish, potatoes salad and a beverage, in the spirit of fasting. Donations to the Parish will be accepted.

Friday February 21st, at 7 pm we will celebrate a Memorial Mass for all those who passed away in 2019. We encourage you to invite family and friends to come celebrate the memory of your loved ones. A small reception will immediately follow in the Church Hall.
February 25th from 5 to 7 pm in the Church Hall, The Knights of Columbus are hosting Pancake Tuesday to start us off in Lent. Come out and enjoy and evening meal of fellowship and pancakes!
